One real test, start to finish — 11 items in a row
Part A: Library Orientation. Part B: Free Time and Hobbies. Every strategy from this series, worked through on one real test.
Part A, sentences 1-3 — the easy opener
This test's theme: Library Orientation, a new student induction. It opens simple — catch who's doing what, and to what.
Sentence 1
"Please silence your phone before entering the reading room."
Skeleton: instruction → phone → reading room.
Part A, sentences 4-7 — the escalating ones
Response time grows from 11 to 20 seconds as the sentences add clauses. Chunk them as you hear them.
Sentence 7 (20 seconds to respond)
"Although the third floor is reserved for silent study, you may bring food and drinks to the ground-floor lounge, as long as you clean up after yourself."
3 chunks: a contrast clause + 2 paired conditions.
Part B — Free Time and Hobbies, all 4 questions
Same shape every time: opinion → description → past event → opinion again.
Q1 (opinion)
"Do you prefer spending your free time alone or with friends? Why?"
Position, then reason, then example.
Putting it together
Reconstruct the skeleton in Part A instead of chasing exact words. In Part B, develop every answer with a reason and a specific detail until the full 45 seconds is used. Same habits, every test.
